Prime Minister Jafar Hassan just announced the launch of the Citadel Cable Car Project, a tourism initiative set to transform the city’s skyline and connect its most iconic landmarks in a whole new way.

The project will link the Citadel (Jabal al-Qal’a) with both Lweibdeh and the Roman Theater, giving locals and tourists the chance to glide above Amman’s history and culture — all while soaking in panoramic views of the capital. 🌇

According to the announcement, construction will move quickly, with operations expected to begin within 15 months of the start date. The goal? To breathe new life into central and eastern Amman — boosting tourism, creating jobs, and adding a brand-new experience to the city’s map
